AEP River Operations

AEP River Operations is a full service barge carrier, working throughout the inland waterways as a for-hire carrier. Our operation extends to the Mississippi, Ohio, Illinois, Arkansas and Tennessee Rivers. We also operate on the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway from Texas to Florida. We supply a broad array of transportation and related services including shipyard services, barge cleaning and repair in the Gulf, stevedoring services in New Orleans and terminalling services on the Ohio River. CONSOL River Operations

CONSOL Energy maintains a fleet of 21 line haul towboats, 6 harbor tugs and more than 600 barges of various sizes. RiverQuest

RiverQuest is a non-profit educational organization that operates a river learning center for students, teachers and the community of Southwestern Pennsylvania. The company was founded in 1991 as "Pittsburgh Voyager" by a group of parents who wanted use Pittsburgh's rivers as an experiential classroom to get children excited about science, mathematics and learning. Voyager began doing business as "RiverQuest" in 2006. RiverQuest programs engage students of all ages in hands-on learning while exploring Pittsburgh's Three Rivers. The rivers themselves are at the center of RiverQuest's education program. A specially constructed state-of-the art green educational vessel, Explorer, arrived in Pittsburgh in late 2008 and began full service to schools and the community in 2009.

United Maritime Group, formerly known as TECO Transport, has three operating companies, namely United Barge Line, United Ocean Services and United Bulk Terminal.
